Ordering shoes online is always risky and I am very picky abut shoes for comfort. I wear sandals year round because my feet are extremely hot and burn when the shores are made from artificial materials. I have long toes that are hard to fit in regular shoes even with a large toe box. The Vianys sandals are the best fit for me and I can wear them all day with no discomfort. I ordered three pair on a special price and there was no break-in period for long wearing time. The slight rise in the heel make the shoes look good with shorts and dress slacks. The sole is some sort of foam that is extremely comfortable and the cloth covering protects my foot from touching the foam. I've worn one pair each day for about a month and see no signs of pressure wear spots. These are definitely my 'go to' shoes and will order more when needed.
